Verulam House are proud to sponsors a Local Boys Football Team - St Albans City Youth East
We are pleased the team, St Albans City East are now in their 3rd year and still going strong.
THE FIRST MATCH
(Written by the Mum of two of the players)
The boys played Enfield Rangers yesterday away.
Not only was it their first match of the season but also their 1st match as a team.
They are still finding their feet and they all played various positions throughout the match to see what suits the team best.
All the boys had a good game but man of the match went to Baily as not only did he make some very good saves, he popped a penalty and also scored an amazing goal.
The day was extra special for Maxim as it was his 8th birthday and all the boys sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to him after the match.
Despite being defeated the boys are still very motivated, very proud to be part of St Albans Youth East and loving their new kit !
